Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, Italy 2007

While they are coming down from a mountain, Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary slip and fall upon some porcupines and get stung all over. While they are licking their wounds, they are joined by a family of hares consisting of father, mother and son. Father hare is very preoccupied because his little boy has eaten a poisonous plant and is not at all well and so he asks the three friends to keep the little hare awake until the father returns with the doctor. Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary start all kinds of actions to keep the little hare awake: they make him play, they make noise, they enlist the help of a dormouse that jumps and shrieks, but nothing seems to help, and the little hare simply doesn’t want to stay awake. Then Rosmary has the glorious idea to sing. Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary, assisted by all the country animals, sing a song that entertains the little one and keeps him awake until the doctor arrives who, after he’s administered the required medication, declares the little hare to be out of danger.
