Season 1 | Episode 4: tHE NATiVitY PLAY

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, France/Italy 2007

It's Christmas and in the snow-covered forest, Pipì, Pupù and Rosemary run into a bear who's preparing for the Nativity play. The bear is distressed because it is almost midnight and he still hasn't found an actor to play the part of the baby Jesus, nor has he cast two of the three kings. He suggests that Pupù play the little child of Bethlehem, and Rosmary and Pipì the Magi. To convince them to take part, the bear tells them he has met Mapà and that it was Mapà himself who told him to ask the trio to act in the nativity play. At the end of the performance, however, the bear is forced to confess his little scheme but after a moment of disillusion, Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary forgive him and are invited to take part in the festive Christmas banquet organized by the bear and all the animals of the forest.
