The Song to My Heart

It's the perfect combination for Bonnie: in her newly opened café, guests can listen to her self-written poems over a hot cup of tea. The already exciting opening night of the first reading is about to begin, when suddenly a celebrity guest, the singer Ryder, appears in the audience. Ryder immediately recognizes the potential of Bonnie's feelings turned into words. However, he is less concerned with the turnover of Bonnie's cozy tea store than with the marketing of his own songs. He has 100 melodies, but no words for them. She doesn't write lyrics, she writes poetry. It's a match! At least it should be in this romantic comedy about the young café owner and the music superstar who is desperately looking for the right content for his songs. The only problem is that Bonnie, herself the daughter of a famous singer, wants nothing to do with the music industry... and doesn't want to sell her poems for less than they're worth. Poems, music and a romantic setting have always been a successful triptych of love, not just since the Minnesang and certainly not least in movies. "The Song to My Heart" brings all three together and creates a light, summery, feel-good atmosphere in a warmly lit setting.
